Warning! Do Not End URLs in .0
If you haven’t yet read the news regarding the SEOMoz Web Awards problem, you should definitely check it out. They have a URL structure that ends in .0. After some initial testing the team over at SEOMoz came to the conclusion that URL’s ending in a .0 get an automatic penalty. This was later confirmed by Google.
So in short, if you are going to have a .0 or even a .n in your URL structure it would be best to end it in a trailing slash. This as they have initially tested does not give your page a penalty. So double check those URLS!
